Hi, I’m Paul, and I’m based in Scotland. I built this site because I spent years doing everything wrong with money. Keeping too much in cash, picking individual stocks, paying fees I didn’t understand, and convincing myself I’d start investing properly ‘soon’. Sound familiar?

The turning point was watching people I knew reach retirement age and not get to enjoy it. People who had worked hard their whole lives and simply ran out of time. I decided I wasn’t going to do the same.

So I learned. I simplified. I started investing consistently in low-cost index funds, stopped trying to be clever, and watched things grow. Now I’m on track to retire in my early 50s. Not because I earn a fortune, but because I understood a handful of simple principles and stuck to them.

That’s what this site is. Everything I wish I’d known earlier, written plainly, with no agenda and nothing to sell you
